You sit at home and scroll through your phone,

Wishing that you weren’t alone.

You pace the house, through every room,

And ponder your impending doom.

Anxiety can steal your life away,

You hope tomorrow will be a new day.

All of the challenges that stress you out,

Are the same ones that you dream about.

You get out of bed and have a shower,

Wishing you had a few more hours.

To sit alone, avoiding what’s out there,

Its too overwhelming , you just don’t care.

So you crawl back under your covers in bed,

And quiet the demons and fears in your head.

“You can do this”, you whisper to yourself,

The struggles are too real with poor mental health.
