I like my little bubble.
My world of oblivion.
Away from all the chaos
The place to where I run.
I hide from all the bullshit
The noise just goes away
I can focus my attentions
And have a productive day.
“Come join us over coffee,”
The people around me chant
My response is always “no thanks,’
In reality, I can’t.
I need my own small world
With windows I can see through
They protect me from the drama
A barrier between me and you.
I write and work in my bubble.
I tune out those around me
In order for me to have success
Please just leave me be.
I feel safe inside my dome
A clear ball of chosen seclusion
I have no use for toxic stress
So, it’s my only real solution
