For me, personally, life on Medium has looked quite differently as of late. It is no longer my personal space to just write through my soul, and use my experiences to help others.
It has become a bit of a war zone, unfortunately.
Throughout my years of writing on this amazing platform, I have shared my stories. I have read many similar stories to mine, and I have engaged with others who have been subject to narcissists or psychologically damaged people.
What I didn’t realize, until some writer friends of mine alerted me, is that I was being viciously, and wrongly, attacked by a couple of predators-one from my past, and his new victim. They came out with guns blazing, like the “Mickey and Mallory” of Medium.
I am actually appalled at the lengths they have gone to, including using my fiancé's ex as leverage, for personal financial information and other lies, before discarding her into their pile of people they have used for their own entertainment. It is beyond twisted that anyone can use people and treat them like garbage in this way. Once they got their information from his previous wife, they used it to attack my fiancé and I, and threw her to the wolves. I have never been witness to such callousness and disgrace for others.
